Abstract. Sugiatmo, Poedjirahajoe E, Pudyatmoko S, Purwanto RH. 2023. Carbon stock at several types of mangrove ecosystems in Bregasmalang, Central Java, Indonesia. Biodiversitas 24: 182-191. Mangrove have an important role but are also faced with the conversion use and impacts from climate change. Therefore, this research aims to determine carbon above-ground, below-ground, soil Java. A total 8 transect lines, each having a length 125 m consisting six plots, were placed four obtain data on diameter vegetation five different depths. Allometric equations used analyze data, while compositions analyzed laboratory. The results showed that Bregasmalang was 713.13 Mg ha-1 details as follows; above-ground 30.27 (4%), below-ground 10.99 (2%), 671.87 (94%). Meanwhile, conservation forests 763.75 ha-1, rehabilitation 719.25 silvofishery 680.71 ponds 688.81 ha-1. Based results, high mangroves importance protecting mitigate

Genetic Variation of Cytochrome b Gene in Three Local Goat Breeds in Central Java of Indonesia
This study was conducted to elucidate the genetic diversity and phylogenic relationship of three local goat breeds in Central Java of Indonesia based on the cytochrome b (cyt b) gene sequence. Blood samples of 19, 15 and 12 heads of Kacang, Kejobong and Ettawa Grade breeds, respectively, were used as materials of the study. The multiple alignment of cyt b gene was conducted by comparing under s...

The objective of this research was to discriminate four local breeds of goat in Central Java-Indonesia using multivariate analysis. Data from eight morphological traits of four goat breeds, namely Kejobong goat (JG), Etawa Grade goat (EGG), Kacang goat (KG) and Jawarandu goat (RG) originated from Purbalingga, Purworejo, Grobogan and Pemalang regencies, respectively, were used. One hundred and s...
متن کاملEconomic Value Estimation of Mangrove Ecosystems in Indonesia
Indonesia has a huge potential of mangrove resources. In 2010, the mangrove area was 5,209,543.16 hectares and the area was decline rapidly to 2,496,185 hectares in 2016. This figure shows depletion and degradation of mangrove ecosystem and therefore, the capacities to supply human needs are decline because of the intense pressure from many activities in the development of coastal zone.
